We cannot wait until the next season of Greenleaf starts. Oprah Winfrey’s investment in black excellence paid off. The show follows the family of a black Memphis Mega church. Netflix grabbed the saga for it’s take on greed, adultery,and sibling rivalry. The show is phenomenal. Greenleaf receives positive reviews, and has even won several NAACP Awards.
We hope Lynn Whitfield and Keith David realize the raw talent they bring to the screen. We haven’t been so captivated by an all black TV Series in a long time. Rotten Tomatoes gave Greenleaf 81%. They introduced a host of new talent. Merle Dandridge, the star of the show, is Grace Greenleaf. Please follow Desiree Ross and Lovie Simone. They’re next up. Lamman Rucker , fine ass , plays Bishop’s married son. Kim Hawthorne has Viola Davis potential. Deborah Joy Winans, of the acclaimed Winans family, makes the show so realistic. She can sing as well as Adele, or Beyonce.
Season 5 starts soon, so hopefully we’re still quarantined to focus and watch. Greenleaf shatters the network competition with prestigious thespian art. So, why is the show being cancelled? Why isn’t Greenleaf being renewed like Seinfeld, or Friends? Craig Wright,the Greenleaf creater, has more in store. He deserves to get paid whatever he demands. Why stop filming a show that rakes in millions of viewers nationwide? Is Oprah being a cheapskate? Doesn’t the Greenleaf cast deserve to get paid? Creators paid Modern Family Actors $500,000.00 per episode, and it was produced for 11 executive seasons. Who can we blame for the show’s demise?
